Purpose of Processing

Providing medical monitoring assistance for patients with scoliosis through the use of the "Scoliosense" application/platform.
Medical monitoring is carried out only by the treating physician of the subject, to whom the subject’s personal data are transmitted and who conducts further processing for as the Controller. Conducting scientific research on the proper use and application of the support brace for treating scoliosis through medical tests.

Legal basis of processing

The processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a service contract between the user of the application/platform "Scoliosense" and the controller providing the application/platform (Article 6 (1b) GDPR).

The processing is necessary for preventive or professional medicine purposes (Article 9 (2) GDPR) and is carried out under the responsibility of the subject's treating physician (Article 9 (3)) and the columnar manufacturer, who carry out further processing for which they themselves are Responsible.

The processing is necessary for archiving purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes, or for statistical purposes (Article 9 (2) GDPR).

Manual decision-making

Through the "Scoliosense" application/platform, decisions are NOT made solely based on automated processing, including profiling, that would have legal or significant effects concerning the Data Subject. All decisions concerning the Personal Data Subject are taken manually by the treating physician of the subject and the manufacturer of the column.

Recipients

The Data Controller and its employees.
External partners of the Controller (in particular cloud service provider Microsoft Azure).
The personal data of the subjects are transmitted to the user of the application/platform - attending physician of the Subject and to the user of the application/platform - manufacturer of the column, who further process the data of the Subject, for which they themselves are responsible.
The personal data of the subjects are not transferred to third parties other than the above, nor to a third country or international organization.

Storage period

Personal data (common or special category) is retained for as long as necessary for monitoring by the clinician and in any case for the entire period that the subject uses the application, as well as for 30 days after its deactivation.

Non-identifiable statistical data shall be retained for 20 years after collection.
